At The Life Trails, we deeply value our clients and psychologists alike. We strive to ensure that each session delivers meaningful value for your time and money. This document outlines the terms and conditions of our professional services and business policies. It also includes important information regarding your privacy rights and our confidentiality practices.
By continuing to engage with our services, you agree that you have been provided with the necessary information and that this document serves as a binding agreement between you (the Client) and The Life Trails.
Informed consent is the formal permission given by the Client to initiate participation in The Life Trails programs. By proceeding, the Client confirms they have freely given this consent after being informed of the risks and benefits of the program.
For minors, the Parent(s)/Legal Guardian(s) provide consent by signing this document.
All communication between the Client and The Life Trails is treated as strictly confidential. We will only release information to others if the Client signs a written authorization, which may be revoked at any time in writing.
However, exceptions to confidentiality include:
Clients are expected to pay the full fee at the beginning of each session unless alternate arrangements are made.
Accepted payment methods include Cash, Bank Transfer, GPay, and Paytm. Payment plans for additional professional services (e.g. assessments) will be discussed in advance.
Each standard session is 45 minutes. Longer sessions can be arranged at a pro-rated fee. If you are late, only the remaining session time will be available. If no communication is made within 15 minutes of the session start, your therapist may not be available.
Frequency of sessions may be adjusted as per the treatment plan.
Fees will be communicated at the time of booking. Package rates vary depending on the severity of the concern and will be shared after initial consultation.
Fees also apply to psychometric assessments and other professional services.
Due to the nature of therapeutic services, no refunds or adjustments are offered once payment has been made.
If services are not availed within 3 weeks from payment, the amount may be forfeited.
If you are dissatisfied with services, we encourage you to provide feedback. While we do not offer refunds, exceptions may be made solely at the discretion of The Life Trails management.
If a package is cancelled mid-program, no refunds or adjustments will be issued. However, alternate resources or online counselling options may be provided as a goodwill gesture under valid circumstances.
The duration of therapy depends on the individual needs of the Client. Either party may terminate the relationship once treatment goals are met. The Life Trails also reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services and may refer the Client to another mental health professional if necessary.
Your engagement with The Life Trails implies that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
